So . . . I'm going to guess there's some empty space in my blog readers' mail boxes that could be filled with a package containing some fun gifts! Actually, the package won't be delivered by the postal service. But I was recently contacted by a very nice, generous man from CSN Stores, which is the parent company of Moremailboxes.com, where you can find all things . . . mail boxes!
I had never heard of CSN Stores so I started clicking on some of the links in the email and I discovered not just one store, but multiple very cool stores, which they refer to as eboutiques on their Facebook page. Isn't that cute? Eboutiques!
CSN Stores wanted to know if I would be interested in doing a giveaway on my blog. I love spreading the love with giveaways so of course I said yes!
I went through a couple of the stores, looking for gifts for one of you. Since I know most of you are scrapbookers, sewers, or crafters in some capacity, I know that also means you're always struggling with storage. And I also assume that you really enjoy it when your storage is pretty, as well as functional. So I chose these two items, both to be given to one lucky winner.
First I chose this ultra cool Perforated Magnetic board. If you click on the link in that last sentence, you can find more information about it. You'll be receiving the 29.5" x 45.3" board. That's (very) roughly 3 feet by 4 feet so it's a nice sized board. I chose it because, not only is it attractive, it can function as a magnetic board or a peg board. I need to state these next few items are not included with the board but they are available through All Modern to work in conjuction with the Perforated Board.
There's this little Paper Dispenser. We're a creative lot when it comes to storage so I know some of you would instead put journaling cards in it. Or maybe Copic markers. Or possibly some Fiskars scissors?
There are also these hooks which would greatly increase the storage potential of the board if you were to find a way to hang storage containers from them. We're also crafty little space utilizers.
And, of course, a magnetic board needs magnets!
All of these accessories, as well as the entire collection of magnetic boards and accessories for them, can be found here.
The second item the winner will receive is this Iittala bowl with the fun, quirky owl motif.
This itty-bitty-tiny photo was the only one I could grab from the website. You can see a larger photo that does it more justice here. Its intended function is as a 20 oz. pasta bowl. But I know we're not just creative and fantastic space-utilizers, we're also rule breakers. If something will look pretty in our space, we don't care what the intended purpose. It's storage as far as we're concerned.
A few other storage solutions I found that are not included in the drawing but I still wanted to share with you are
these adorable canvas bins.
They are larger than they look at 12.5" H x 16.75" W x 12.5" D and are available in pink and brown, as well. The large cutouts in the sides are actually handles that are folded down so they are easily portable.
And this bin at 10" H x 10" W x 10" D.
Finally, I thought this hanging organizer was also really cute.
On the non-storage-but-oh-so-cute-in-a-creative-space side, I fell in love with this Thomas Paul Goldfinch rug. That led me to look at all of the Thomas Paul rugs and I discovered something I never knew about myself. I am a Thomas Paul fan! I don't know who he is but I intend to find out.
If after looking at this rug, you think you might be a Thomas Paul fan, you can determine with certainty by looking at all of his rug designs carried by All Modern here.
OK, I think I've fed the online shopping bug enough for today. I don't want your husbands to ban you from my blog! But if you happen to go spend a little money on any of these things, you can create a diversion by telling him you might be getting something bigger than not one, but two mail boxes from the UPS man. And if you do, you didn't have to pay a dime for it!
Time to focus on the task at hand here! How do you enter to win?
1. All you have to do is leave a comment (one entry per person, please). You don't have to say anything profound. You can just say, "I wanna win!" Don't be shy and think, "I never leave a comment here. I don't want leave one now and make her think I just want to get free stuff from her." I want you to win something whether you normally leave comments or not!
2. If you want to have your name entered a second time, if you will post a link to my blog on your blog and then come back and leave a second comment letting me know, you're entered twice. Please make sure your blog is linked to your profile name or the address included in your comment.
Again, the drawing is for these two items.
Remember to use your imagination on the size of this one. It's not really part of a child's tea set!
And CSN has asked that, due to international shipping charges, I keep this open to US residents only.
I'll choose a winner next Friday. In the meantime, if you want to take the time to browse some of the CSN eboutiques (eboutiques!) you can find them here. And don't forget, if you need to divert your husband's attention, check out the mail boxes. I'm going to show this one to Shawn.
Hey! You know what? That would make really cool scrapbook room storage!
So, a recap:
There are 2 ways to get your name entered.
Be there or be square-memo-board-and-pretty-pasta-bowl-non-winner by next Friday.
US residents only.
