Is This Person Normal?

moldy biscuits
Would you think someone terribly weird if they removed the lid from this container of biscuits they'd forgotten about in their kitchen and their first thought was, "Wow. The greens of those molds contrast one another very nicely." I mean, teal and chartreuse do look fabulous together to some people.

What if their second thought was to notice the nice texture of the chartreuse mold? I think someone who likes moss growing on the floor of the woods might think it cool to see a resemblance between the two.

I'm not saying anyone in our house thought these things when I removed the lid. I was just wondering if they were to think them, if that would be totally weird. If you do and I hear anyone say these things, I'll be sure to tell them that in the future they should keep such comments in their weird, bizarre head.

Clearly I'm NOT the person to ask as I saw this, and before I bothered to read I was getting closer to my computer screen and totally fascinated by the colors/textures of awesome mold. Why don't I ever find anything like that?!

Possibly because you clean your refrigerator out, May!?!?! Lol

I'm glad I am not the only one who finds moldy unidentifiable objects in the frig. Although I don't find them nearly as cool as you. So maybe you are weird and you should just keep it to yourself. :-)

ha, the first thought I had, before reading the rest of your post, was: wow, where'd she get those awesome looking rocks?!

I was fighting the tiny little flies in my kitchen for a few weeks, and then yesterday finally saw where they came from...a bag of moldy potatoes in a drawer. I hadn't even smelled them yet!
So I'm really not one to comment on the weirdness of ones thoughts! :)

UMMMM, you know I have really slow internet service, so most of the time I can read the message and then have to wait for awhile before the picture comes through. After reading the post, I thought, yeh, that could be me, however, after seeing the picture, ewwwwwwww. .. . sorry!

LOL! I have to admit, the color combo intrigued the creative part of my brain!

I thought you had some great decorating skills...didn't even phase me to what it really was. At least you get the cool looking mold:):) But I would probably say how cool the colors are if I could get that color in my house:)

I'm catching up on blog reading, and in my reader, I started with the you/June Cleaver. Then I moved to this. Honestly, my thoughts went like this: "Eww, mold, I wonder if it's a science experiment or garden hint today?", then, "Look at that moss they stuck in there-just like out back. I love moss". :)

Sorry, mold does nothing for me, except make good cheese :-)

Those biscuits would have never had a chance in my house. My boys eat everything carb orientated before you can even spell mold!

Nice job with the shot though ;-)
